Alissa Leeper

15+ years in the Footwear Industry partnering with talented Design + Marketing + Operations experts globally; highly collaborative leader who particularly enjoys and excels in Product Creation, Project + Agile Management, Creative process improvement, building up + empowering all humans to be seen, heard and activate their own authentic potential. She is known for driving elite athlete product needs on impossible timelines and connecting the dots from strategy into successful flow.

Heavily influenced leadership skills by both being born and raised in Hawai’i, and the thought forms of Brene Brown, Alex Elle, and Gary Vaynerchuk where vulnerability meets fierce integrity. Favorite quote she lives by, “When people show you who they are, believe them.” — Maya Angelou.

Jennifer Hardnett

Jennifer has a background of more than 10 years in partnering with entrepreneurs and small businesses to reach their financial dreams. She has also provided sales coaching for several billion-dollar West Coast corporations. Jennifer’s consulting expertise includes strategic financial business planning, boosting diverse corporate culture, planning for a culture of health in business, inclusive and equitable processes for womxn, and operations efficiency.

Jennifer co-founded Four Forces Inc, a company that bridges the gap between various communities, governmental agencies, and businesses to translate actions into real change and achievements. 

Using her holistic and integrative capabilities, she enjoys guiding folks into a wealth mindset, advocating for communities, listening to actively understand, and being a mom.

Sarah Shaoul

Cofounder, Bricks Need Mortar

Passionate about human engagement, Sarah Shaoul works with businesses to establish and maintain healthy ethos and culture to propel businesses to thrive forward. Sarah is a business consultant and coach with over 25 years experience owning, operating and building retail brands. She founded PDXSOS, a platform to drive traffic to small and independent Portland businesses. Sarah is cofounder of Bricks Need Mortar  a membership organization that provides community, connection, guidance, consulting, advocacy and visibility for small and independent brick and mortar businesses.

Sarah is the first generation child of immigrant parents who fled persecution in their home countries. She is a writer and podcast host of Grief Gratitude & Greatness  Her greatest job is mother to her 2 children.

Tracy T. Miller

Tracy is a strategic and influential business leader with global experience developing, deploying,
and measuring human capital initiatives to drive transformational change and continuous
improvement. She is recognized for coaching and empowering senior executives and leadership
teams in recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent to deliver business objectives, around
the world. She is passionate about mentoring and developing opportunities for women in

She has had a career in Human Resources for over 26 years at Pfizer Inc, a Fortune 100
company. She was most recently Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Pfizer where she
was responsible for Global HR Operations. She was senior sponsor for Global Women's Council
supporting the development and advancement of women around the world. She has coached
executives and global senior leadership teams. In addition, she led a series of global
transformation efforts across the Company.

Tracy is a member of several professional organizations including the Society for Human
Resources Management (SHRM) and Portland HR Management Association (PHRMA). She is
an active member of the Northwest Quilters Guild and serves as a volunteer for Comforting

Wendy Kotila

Marketing Consultant | Business Coach | Educator

Wendy is a seasoned marketing leader with significant experience in developing, executing, and teaching marketing and business growth strategies and tactics.  As a business coach, she helps smart entrepreneurs how to effectively attract customers, get leads, and make a profit.  

After earning her MBA, Wendy honed her skills for 12+ years working at Adobe, Apple, and Google, and now helps founders and teams apply big business best practices to their small businesses and startups. In addition to consulting and coaching, Wendy is also an adjunct professor at Portland State University and a mentor for both the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) and Five One Labs, an incubator that helps refugees and conflict-affected entrepreneurs grow and launch their businesses in the Middle East.  

Wendy is a former board member for the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and an angel investor.  She also served as a mentor for Xxcelerate’s first cohort.
